To defeat those kinds of demons, you need to face the fear and talk to someone about it. Conquer it with knowledge and understanding. That and sleeping pills... But those can be addicting O.O , so go with the first option before resorting to tranquilizer drugs. |

Do what Taylor said - write them down when you wake from them and try to sleep [try putting on headphones and listening to your favorite music] Then in the morning when you wake up, read what you wrote and analyse it. What do you think is causing it? What does it mean to you? Think on these questions and ask friends for help on it. It can put your mind at ease and you'll be able to sleep again. Also, don't eat anything with sugar, caffeene or spicy things in it within three hours of bed time, because that can disrupt chemicals in your body and cause ditortions in the mind - which ultimately end up as your worries manifested into an entity known as the nightmare. Just try to relax and put it out of your mind. Go to sleep with happy thoughts and you should be okay. Post again tomorrow and tell me how you're doing. [I'll be on in the afternoon/evening] If there's still no progress, I'll see what else I can think of. Take care and good night. |

I can't really offer any help sorry! I did have insomnia but I eventually worked through it by just ignoring it mainly and not letting it bother me. As for the dreams I've got no idea! Again I'm sorry :) |

I don't have nightmares, but hallucinations. It's weird, I get them at least twice a week and its horrible! |

I think those are more or less night terrors, or repressed memories. and the more you talk about it, the better you'll be able to sleep. of course, you could pull a fight club and force yourself to cry to get yourself to go to sleep. um, I don't really know if that works. |

Nothing is really helping. i have tried. and yes they probably are night terrors. the thing with the police is because its a piece of my recent past that the police had to get involved in. I didnt want to tell the police what happened or my mom, what happened is what my nightmares or night terrors are about. thanks for your advice |
