Yeah, common ground does help in a relationship. But I had two friends in high school - one was this kind of preppy rich-boy jock from the wrestling team and the other was this quiet Goth girl from my study hall and art class. In the first semester of my junior year, they started going out and two years later, they are still together. They had almost nothing in common but a love for drama club[and making out in the hall - ugh]. But I guess that's a good example of opposites attracting...
