hi I need some original poems for my website

Hi there,

I do not know whether I am posting in the right section - but I will give it a go anyway.

I am currently creating a website that is for survivors of abuse. I am seeking poems that reflect the following:

Overcoming tragedy
Loneliness
Breathing
Being a survivor
Happiness
Hate/Anger
Feelings
Sexual Abuse
Finding yourself
Poems related to abuse

I would love any original content by the orginal owner - I am not looking to break copyrights. I have written my own but would like other peoples poetry as well.

I am aiming to have a place where people can post their own poetry/stories/artwork for other survivors to see.

I wrote a poem about abuse, but it ends tragically for the character. It is called "Flowers"

I was asking for poetry to be devoted to those who have been harmed by others. I suggested that I would not break copyrights, and wish to have the authors of some lovely poems get known. I was amazed at the depth of feeling of some of the poetry that I have read on this site.

Unfortunately you have taken this as an opportunity to flame another on a poetry forum. I am sorry you feel this way.

*Frantically jumps up and down* As long as you promise to not write them off as your own by putting my nickname xDarkSuicidex after them, you can use any of mine if you like. *Laughs* That's about all I write on...and my most recent 'Journal Entry' is something you may just like, though it's not a poem. Try and look and if you like some, tell me which you use.

I will have a look and pm you when I do.

The site concerns help for survivors of trauma, and abuse. I do not feel comfortable posting a link on this site as it may be triggering / unsuitable for some here.

In answer to your question about copyright etc - I have actually put up about 20 or so poems from here and have credited them all with either the persons real name or their online name and a link to their website if the website is suitable for viewing by survivors.

Also on this site is tips, short stories, articles, artwork and forms. It is currently receiving about 70-100 hits per week. It is a professionally designed site.

I must also say that one of the poems that I have posted - Forever Changed by Tammy is a big hit. I am very proud to have this poetry on my site and hope that it helps others out there.

You could check out some of mine. That's a pretty broad list. I can think a lot of mine (especially my earlier poems on here) that apply.

as for survivors of abuse, trauma: "Innocent Deception" "In Violation" for abuse. "View from Heaven" and "The President's Speech Writer" for dealing with trauma, and "Forgiveness" for moving on.

and Lamentations.

They're all pretty much about anger, loss, self-resentment and such.
If any tickle your fancy feel free to post them, just please try to include my name if you want/can.
