okay, now that I let that out, on to the issue at hand.

You should talk to him first. There might be a reason, or maybe he was pushing you away to see if you were willing to keep trying. OR maybe something happened while you were both on vacation. Either way, you should talk to him about it, before jumping the gun and breaking up with him.
