Advice; From Someone Who's Been There

i know what you mean... katie that was an awesome thing to do and i sincerely congratulate you for trying to help and seeming like you care. i know you've heard it all before but i seriously can't let anyone in. it's not an option. anyone i have ever been close to has either killed themselves or left me in some way and i can't be responsible for more.

great info, but some of that isn't true with everyone - yes most people do it and then hide the scars from other people, but i don't, and i never have and i never will, i self harmed for 8 months continuosly (sp) and my scars are hardly even there, and i would prefer them to be more noticable (sp) because i'm not ashamed of it!!!! i now haven't cut since july 6th!!! all my mates are proud of me for not doing it for so long, and i'm proud of myself but i don't regret what i did, and i know that i'm not gonna live my whole life without doing it again, i will do it again someday - just probably not yet!!!
and most people that self harm arn't gonna read that and see the light and stop i certainly wouldn't people alwayz say stuff like that but who cares i knew all of that in the first place and if i cared i wouldn't have started would i??!!
