help!!!

i need help NOW!!!
my mate loves this boy, but all he does is uses her and tells her he loves her and then stands there rite infront of her and starts snogging her mates, she is now freaking cause he had a girlfriend and the girl was one of her mates and she found that the girl was gonna dump him so she told him and she told him the reason why she was gonna dump him and now they both hate her and they broke up and now every1 hates her cause they say it was her fault that they broke up!!!!
i know she's over reacting but she now has a knife in her hand and i'm talking to her over aol, and i don't know what to do cause she loves him more than anything else in the world, she would die for him, and i can't convince her that she is better than him!!!!
what should i do??

Tell her that it's not right to hurt herself for a pr!ck who's obviously not worth it. Like Britt said, no excuses. I can't stand to hear about the girls who say that the dude they're with is "so in love" with them yet it's apparent that he's doing her wrong. I've seen too much of it and i'm disgusted every time.

but she doesn't listen and oh yeah he flirts with everygirl he meets and everygirl falls for him and falls completely in love with him because he says to everygirl "i would do anything to make you happy"!!!!! hey even i fell for it and i'm in love with him and he told me that he loved me and he doesn't love her he wants me!!! but i know what he's like so i try to block out my feelings!!! but i know how she feels it aint that easy to forget about him!!!

i would never say "i told you so" to her, i care about her, but i was trying to convince her not to hurt herself and she just turned round and said
"i dont giv a shit wot peeps fink i onli care bout wot stephen finks and dat is he wishes i woz dead and i no it"
(the boys name is stephen and i know she has bad spelling) and then she went offline :(
