only u know the answer to that. tell him how u feeel, y its not working. be careful not to hurt his feelings but do it face to face cos words do speak louder when spoken to ur face rather tahn text or internet or whatever. make sure he knows its not his fault adn that u still wana be friends etc. hope that helped and wasnt toolate!

Just tell him the truth, be honest about why you want to break up with him. If theres a reason, then tell him. If there isn't and its because you dont like him just tell him you dont think it's going to work and you don't want to keep leading him on. Dont be mean or lie, everyone deserves the truth and to be let down with respect and niceness. Think of how you'd want ppl to break up with you.
