Love And Age???

Im 13 and went out with a 17, I didn't see anything wrong with it, mainly because girls mature earlier and I can honestly say i was more mature lol

i dont see why people r so retarded about age my parents are 4 years apart if i did that at my age people would freak out

16 and 24 yrs, thats the difference between me and my boy... big difference but worth it..

If everyone is of age, no laws being broke, age isn't an issue. The woman I'm marrying is 12 years younger than me. At 42 it works...at 22 it doesn't. Right and wrong change with age.

*deep breath* I saw this on Maury (unusual show but bear with me): There was a 16 year old boy...who (while going behind his mother's back) was having sex with his beloved 72 year old girlfriend.

Why would I bring this up? Because most of you are talking about age differences 3-10 years apart.

I think that is way wrong, The boy should be living his life with people AROUND to same ages give or take 10 years it dosn matter but the woman could be gone the next day. then what would he do?

A girl your age can mistake a MAN'S intentions. A grown man wanting to date a 14 year old has a hidden agenda. I believe that whole heartedly and no one could ever change that. I believe it is possible for a man to love a young girl and vise versa but I would not think it would be right for them to have a relationship as a man and a girl have totally different lives. While he's working ...she's on a school bus. While he's drinking beer ....she's playing hop scotch. It's two different worlds. I recently had a 16 year old boy ask me out. He is mature for his age but him and I have totally different lives. He's only 4 years younger than me which isn't a lot. But while I work 2 jobs he's at school and hanging out with friends int he neighborhood. I'd have to pick him up and to me that's just not cool. I would feel as though I was taking something from him as he wouldn't be experiencing the things teens do together. School dances....outings with friends...etc. I don't know it's weird to me as a child's life is so far different than an adults....as a child I never understood that. I to thought it was ok for a 14 year old girl to date a man 20 years old but now that I'm older I can't believe I ever felt that way.

I don't think the age should matter to anyone. I'll be 16 and I like a 20 year old. That only 4 years apart. I really don't think it should matter. And my sister likes a 21 year old and she 17. whats the big deal about the age anyways? I don't think there should be one as long you don't go over maybe 5 to 6 years over your own age. peace

Can't do that babygirl. You can't say it shouldn't be a big deal and then put limitations on it. It's either ok (in your eyes) or not. What does a 20 year old MAN want with a 16 year old GIRL? You're a child trying to be with an adult. To prove something to someone? To try and be more mature? He likes you for what? For sex? A prize piece to show off? A little girl to take advantage of.....Think about it.

if you 18 years old date who ever you want you and adult but like say a 16teen year old with a guy old enough to be her father thats nasty. sometime it dose but when it come to teens it's not that big of a thing

Exactly... Dating older guys is one of the main reasons why teenage girls are pregnant.

Some advice: Your still young and naive. Many of you shouldn't even be thinking about boyfriends right now... concentrate on other important things in your life, like schoolwork.

When you date older guys I think that girls are more vulnerable to doing things they wouldn't normally do with guys their own age. Most of my friends that go out with older guys are the ones who end up becoming skanks and doing things they aren't mature enough. Guys your own age are on the same maturity level as you. Most older guys try and take advantage of you.
