Immigration: If you fully contribute to the place you are moving to then by all means get on board.

Asylum Seekers: You're going to need a SHITLOAD of evidence to show that not only is your life indanger, but you have been tortured / threatened etc. If you can prove that beyond any shadow of a doubt (not a reasonable one) AND If you fully contribute to the place you are moving to then by all means get on board.

Immigration programs providing for political asylum and refugee status were well intentioned but they have been widely abused.

Of course people everywhere have a right to seek a better life. That's the reason I came to live in the U.S.

But there have been immigrants who have falsely declared themselves to be refugees to gain immediate resident status and fraudulently receive emergency assistance. That's just wrong.
