... That song has been in my poems for almost a year. It's such a beautiful song. AND I said it was a song. NO need for the dang email, and telling me your going to kick me off the site if I mess up again. That's bull crap. I've been apart of this thing for 2 years and I've learned to love the changes you people keep making. But wow. I'm furious.

YOU NEED TO WATCH OUT FOR THE PPL WHO WILL SIT HERE AND PUT A WHOLE POEM OF SOMEONE ELSES AND SAY THAT IT'S THERES ON THEY'RE POEMS. THAT'S WHAT YOU NEED TO WATCH FOR. NOT A SONG... THAT I SAID WASN'T MIND... UGHH

AND PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DON'T EVER SUSPEND MY ACCOUNT :'( THIS IS MY SOURCE FOR MY POEMS. THIS IS THE ONLY PLACE MY POEMS ARE AT. I DON'T HAVE THEM WRITTEN ANYWHERE. I DID HAVE OVER 500 POEMS SAVED ON MY COMPUTER AND MY MOM DELETED THEM ALL EXCEPT FOR WHAT I HAD ON HERE...

That email goes out automatically when a poem is reported and deleted, it was nothing personal.

And the rules do state that you are supposed to post only your own work. There is no mention of "unless you state it is not yours".

Another rule is that you save your poems before you post them. It's very risky to not have your poems anywhere but on a website. Put them on a disk or print them or something.

i am just frustrated and aggravated that there is SO many plagarizers on this site... and I get threatened with a song...

I know I need to save it... I know... I just don't ever have time. I'm at work right now. And I have no disk... Nor a computer at home. We just got rid of it... I'm just frustrated... There's so many ppl on here who copyright...

We are catching plagiarizers. And I've seen that thread and I look at it everyday. But those people also report the poems they find so that we can delete them.

Many of us are actually trying to clean up this site...plagiarizers frustrate me as well.

But remember that if you're going to report, then a "this poem is stolen" isn't going to cut it. A link to the original work/book/whatever can get the stolen poem/song deleted.

Im sorry guys. I'll make sure I do that from now on. It' just wasn't a big deal seeing songs and stuff and seeing such great poems liek the drinking and driving ones as long as they say that they didn't write it, I don't know. I like to read those poems, they remind me... But if they're not suposed to be on this site, whether or not they say they wrote it or not, then I'll def. make sure I report it...

i hate plagiarizers... HATE EM'

I remember I was on this poem site, and I found 3 of my poems under a person's name... I was so angry I took off everyting off of this site, but I came back because I love it so much...
I guess it's a risk you gotta take..

danielle, even if you hate plagarizers, and as innocent as your intentions may have been, you still plagarized that song (which is basically a poem to music). You have not been suspended because you are clearly a poet who also contributes your own work, and we're all sure that you won't submit work that isn't yours again.

Many people make this sort of mistake. Many plagarizers don't plagarize because they are malicious, but because they don't think what they are doing is wrong.
