They Don't Inspire Me Anymore! *Read* & SOLUTION!

Okay, is it just me, or are the sad poems on this site getting WORSE and worse? They used to be sooo good. And they would inspire me to write my own poems (instead of cutting, which I can proudly say I stopped) But now they're HORRIBLE. It's like you guys don't even try anymore. And I know that alot of you got sick of the sad/depressed/suicidal poems... but I have a reason to why there's so many. This might not be right, but it's what I think. During the day (like at school) you can show if you're happy or excited, but nobody likes to show when they're mad or sad. They just keep it in so nobody worries about them. Then when they get home they have all those feelings still locked up inside, and that's why alot of the poems are sad. Because they have to let those bad feelings out. And they've already let the good ones out. But really the point of this was to see if anyone agrees with me that nobody writes poems like they used to.. it makes me sad *tear* Anyway, if you actually read all that thank you lol, and please comment.

i agree. i was thinking that just last night actually. so recently ive been posting poems about why pain isnt the only feeling in the world, and about things that would imspire ME if i was to read them. Also some about disabled children and people who are less fortunate than ourselves.

U should read them if u are looking for inspiration, but i know what u mean, they r all cutting poems with the title "FEEL SORRY FOR ME OR ELSE" type thing. drives me insane!

hey georgi, i haven't seen anything from you in a while! you're right, pain isn't the only feeling in the world, and there are people who are a lot less fortunate than us. i realized that some kids have a limited time to live, and i was sitting there killing MYSELF? i now see how dumb it is. i am looking for inspiration, i have a talent conest thing coming up and i need to write a FABULOUS poem for it, but i have no inspo. dofiauwefiewjf i HATE when people do that-- "FEEL SORRY FOR ME OR ELSE" FRAWEORI it's SOOOO annoying! but maybe it's because personally, i don't feel sorry for ANYONE. and i HATE when people feel sorry for me. beceause life is what you make it--right?

exactly, life is what u make it. you can chose to lose it, or win it, its up to you. People who cut are chosing to lose the battle, giving up. I used to cut, im trying my best to stop cause i see now how stupid it was!
I went to work with some children the other week who are disabled, anused, forgotten, and it just broke my heart to see them like that. I got so much inspiration from that i wrote three poems! ur right though, i was sitting there killing myself when really i am SOOOOOOO lucky to ever be alive. so many children arent going to live as long as me, and im being selfish to just throw it away like it doesnt matter. ive read some poems today and they all have "cutting, so depressed, i hate life, im a failure to life, everybody cry for me cause i live a terrible terrible life" i mean if u say something like that of COURE ur going to feel crap! we need to wake up and realize what we have in life! instead of dwelling on the things we dont have.

"cutting, so depressed, i hate life, im a failure to life, everybody cry for me cause i live a terrible terrible life" -- i used to be like that too, and i was sooo negative about everything and i was ALWAYS miserable.. and then i just STOPPED. i thought "life's about having funn.. right?" yeah, when i started thinking like that... everything got soo much better! that really is sad about those children, and we rae sooo lucky to be alive.. life is the most precious gift of all.
