hey i'm not sure if reading teenage diaries and such things help you through ur own problems, but they help me. here's a few books you might want to read if u haven't yet,

    go ask alice
    augusta gone
stick figure, a diary of my former self
    a child called it
    girl interuppted
    cut
    deep
    speak

those are really good books...they helped me through rough times...idk...just thought i might post this.

I agree with you. I read when I'm upset, down, or just want to get away from reality for a short while.
Out of your reading list, I have read: CUT, Speak, and A child Called It.
    All great novels.

Speak is now a movie, and will be showing on Lifetime soon.

Second Sister. Good book, not really a diary book, but it's an interesting read. Especially if you're one of those people who feels like their parents pay more attention to the older sibling, etc...

Besides that, check out any of Amelia Attwater-Rhodes' books. If you like supernatural fantasy stuff, you'll like her work.
