what about mine, it's called "To My *Friends*" cuz you can't put the little (") in titles so i used the stars instead to emphasize the fact that i'm being sarcastic...??? |

well, Mortie... my opinion is, no, the poems with [names] added like that are not in violation. (I guess Janis and Dainz have the final say on that though). |

again, the final answer is up to Janis and Dainz... but I would say if it is an extension of the title or the name of the person it's for, then you're fine. |

I just don't really don't get why it has to be a rule. Maybe people want their poetry to stand out by giving it stupid titles like that. Who cares? Are we going to start telling people to not use catchy titles for their work anymore because it stands out from the rest of the poems? |

It's about creativity and originality. Not how many CAPS THEY CAN PUT IN THEIR TITLE or what kind of *()#Decorations#()* they put in the title. |

First of all i wouldn't ever do that. I just don't see a huge deal in it to where you get kicked off the site for it. |

I know it's a rule, but I think it is an unnecessary one. So it's a rule because it's annoying and makes poems stand out? If anything it makes people not want to read them and there's a lot of annoying things on this site. Such as some peoples poetry, and some peoples user names. |
