I don't understand

I never have really understood why i am not well known on this site. I have been a member for sooo long and I comment a lot and post in the forums a lot. I also don't think my poetry is that bad. I don't know, I just would like more feedback on my work. But good feed back. Not those "5/5 check my work out"

I wasn't directly asking for feedback. my post was more about how i dont understand why i'm not known. And don't tell me wrong forum because there are others labeled undiscovered poets and stuff.

who cares. your thinking too small anyways. if you are to be known why not be known all over the literary world. and why stop at being known, why not be remembered, not just in the literary world but in the whole world

There aren't that many 'Well known' people on the site... And those that are 'Well known' are well known cos they are fantastic poets and becuase they contribute so much to the site.....

And also you have so many votes and comments... you have like gold awards... what more do you want?

My weekend's over. :( YOU JINXED IT!!!!!!! LOL

I agree with Bob. There are many more awesomely awesome poets that are not even recognized, but they're content with the fact that maybe they have changed someone's way of thinking, or made them think, or made them smile by reading words that are actually heartfelt and not there with a little comment at the bottom saying "So if you've read this one, check out the rest!" or "PLEEEEEASE vote and comment! It would mean the WORLD to me!"

*And also the reason that the thread undiscovered poets was placed here and is acceptable is because it is filled with poets recognizing other poets that they feel deserve the recognition. (And if you've read the description for this forum one of the things that you may discuss here are your favorite poets.)

So go on, add on your own name, if the attention's what you feel you deserve for being a member on this site for so long.

you have to have pointy ears to become well known..

or you have to be one hell of a writer...

Don’t write for recognition write to make you happy. Maybe if you want even more feedback on your poetry then use the forum made for requesting comments. Not a lot of people give out the long comments that will mean something to you but give them out yourself and maybe they will come around to giving you some too. Some of the best poets won’t ever be recognized and some that are recognized you may think don’t deserve it, the world is just not fair sometimes. Many people may be reading your work just not commenting, your work may mean something to them. If you really want more feedback just keep putting yourself out there, don’t just be active be really active.

Why are you digging up an old thread? This was back in August!

hahaha yeah this was a while ago.... But I guess I'm going to answer it anyways. It's pretty hard to become "wellknown" because there's so many people on this site.... just keep concentrating on writing and doing your best and don't even worry about wellknown, and then maybe more people will know ya. If any of that made sense. :)
