You mean like if they told you they wanted to kill themselves but made you promise not to tell?

argh...um, I don't know. I'd try to make them see how much life was worth living by just being there and listening to them, not judging at all.

if they got any worse after that, I'd like to think I'd break the promise, but I'd probably just wait to see what happened. Continue doing the above. even if they still committed suicide...glad I've never faced this situation.
