i need someone to help me write my poems

hello , im chloe and im 14
i love to right poems , but im not very good at it .
is there some one who can give me some advice , or some ideas ?

if you want i can try to help.... ill do what i can... im not much older than you, but im not too bad at poetry.... so what do u need help with exactly?

Some people think that you have to write poetry from first hand experience, they're wrong. You can write about nething. World problems or like someone elses problems. Just write what you feel about conflicting issues, it doesn't have to rhyme it just has to flow ^_~

well, for poetry, you normally just write what you feel, but in order to make it more pleasant to the readers eye, i usually concentrate less on rhyming, and try to work on the content and how i feel more. I also feel that the syllable count is very important! it is what makes your writing easier to read, but what is most important is just to write what you feel. hey, while i am on the topic, will someone please read my poetry?

Poetry is not about being good, it's expression. Just write what you feel it can never go wrong. Don't compare yourself to other poets using fancy words, they're just using different words to describe the same thing.

well I kinda no where she is coming from, see, I'm in a couple bands and I'm mostly looked at for lyrics and such, problem is when you have nothing to write about at the time it's hard to start, which is why I bounce ideas off of other's who write or are lead singers, it just helps if someone puts down a good line for because I grow off an idea, not just one I make up on my own.

idk if that answers it, but I most certainly don't think writing a poem with someones help is a bad thing at all.

I know this may sound retarded, but you cannot be a judge of yourself. Some people will argue with me and say that you are the best judge but that is incorrect. If you say you are a bad writer, than you are most likely a fairly good one, hell, i think i'm a horrible writer, i think that my flow and my vocabulary could use tons of work, but everyone else loves my poetry. Another example, more out there where almost EVERYONE can understand...you say you think you're ugly, most likely that you are very gorgeous, but you just don't see it. It's the way that a mind works these days, it tells you what to think, what to see and all that good stuff. So since the mind is the central for your thought processes...you're going to listen to it! So that's the first step in my mind, believe in yourself, believe in your abilities and you're well on your way. If you need help with anything else, you can always get a hold of me on here or at
