How long...

...does it take to mend a broken heart?

Mine's taking FOREVER to heal. It's not as intense as when it just happened but, I feel it. Why is that? And how long did it take you to forget completely about your first love?

to be honest i don't think it ever fully mends. you can be happy and move on but it's always there. You never forget our first love.

After I lost my first love, it took a long time for me to get over it. I got boyfriends, and lost boyfriends but something inside me still wanted that one person....but...now...for the past year I have been madly in love with the greatest man in the world, and my heart has mended. Till you are able to open your heart to a new love, your heart can not heal.

That's kind of sweet and kind of sad at the same time. I miss him sometimes. He made me happier than anyone I've ever met. And he had the ability to make me feel things I had never felt before.

And to think I was only 13 when we first got together... :) Now, I'm 16 and I still remember every kiss, every hug, every smile... *sigh*

You can never forget you first love. Even if you have the biggest argument EVER with them! Even if you hate them so much you wanna kill them, or even if you wish they get run over each time they go out...You still never really forget them.
I still see my first love around town all the time..With his new girlfriend who he's been with for a year now! I waited 2years for him and he didnt even give me a thought! What a waste of 2years!
So um yeh, you never really do forget bout your first love, no matter what basically.

I wonder if guys feel the same way about the first girl they ever said "I love you" to.
