Single by choice?

oh boy...teenage girls now are sooooo focused on love and are always desperate for boyfriends. "EVERYONE HAS A BOYFRIEND BUT ME!!!" Ever heard of that?? I thought so. Why is everyone trying to rush into love?? I nvr had a bf, and im still living. Single and happy. Anyone with me??

Well, honestly, I prefer being single rather than being in a loveless relationship, so......yeah...yeah...i guess I shouldn't have answered, lol. I'm not bashing you at all..i really am single by choice. Love has wayyyy too many consequences.

I agree being single does have its advantages, but when you get that one person its the best feeling you can get in the world. Take the advice from someone who has had the advantages and disadvantages to every relationship he's had. There are some moments in the relationships that suck but then there are the ones that make up for it. Being single does mean you can flirt with anyone you want or be more free than in a relationship. True I would prefer being single instead of a loveless relationship but if you never have a relationship with someone you might never actually notice how much you REALLY love them.

HAHA I'd never get a 'boyfriend' just to be "cool", now that's just silly! I have a "boyfriend" (you could say that, although the stupid teenage boyfriend/girlfriend titles annoy me), and I am with him because he makes me feel like a special and unique person. It's all in the psychology, and if I didn't want a 'boyfriend' I wouldn't have one.

Having a b/f or g/f is a choice just like being single. I think it's kind of stupid how ppl rush into it but it's good to explore. If you fall in love it's not a bad thing.

Its kinda a matter of opinion. I personally agree wit you. Y rush into "Love" if you have the rest of your life to find a special guy/girl? With that being said, however, if you find someone who you truely care about, why not be with them? It really depends on the circumstances. I do believe that it is wrong to date people because you wanna look "cool", or you are bored with ya life etc, but hey, if you care about some one in that way...why not, your never too young to love...Well, thats my opinion, love lots, Emles

i agree with some of this post. With me i enjoy being single and sometimes i leave a guy because i am better off being single. I still do like being held by the man i love yah know? its like you full idk i make no sence ^^;

Sadness, thats your opinion on it. Many ppl think otherwise. Love can be a great thing. Not saying being single is a bad thing. I'm just saying finding love can be a good thing alot of the time.

I agree. It seems that all young girls focus only on getting a boyfriend, even if it is only to last for a week. It is very pathetic in my opinion, and it often angers me, especially when they start the obsession at an unreasonable age. I have talked to a few girls, aged 10, who are already obsessed with the idea of obtaining a boyfriend. I'm sorry, that is ridiculous. I believe they should enjoy their youth while it lasts. You're only a kid once, my God, enjoy it.

I find it funny that younger ones are thinking that they are in love and what not, but hey....why not? Let them be. I think what is more upsetting, and stuff is the ones that get really depressed about it. The ones that start to cut, or want to kill themselves because they lost "the love of their life". Some of those girls...and some guys...are just so young, and that's just more sick to me then anything. I don't know what to say or do to get through to those girls!! Oh well...I guess it's not my job, or really any of my business, so I'll just say my two cents, and leave. Lol.

But even though the singal life is fun, I love being in a long term relationship. We trust eachother enough that even if one of us does flirt with someone else, we know that it really is just a part of life, but we only have eyes for eachother. And that's the best. We don't do the touchy feeling, sexual comment type flirting...there are many nice, and not so hurtful ways. Lol. Just because you are committed to someone does not mean that you can no longer have fun....flirting is life...if you feel bad about it, then something is wrong. Just my thoughts.

I love the "i'm in love with love". I think I am. But whatever, I'm still waiting for my soul mate. But then, I kind of stabbed Cupid. Cause he was bring stupid. So I stabbed him. I dont need him anyways.
