Poem needed!!

I need a poem to send to my cousin in Iraq. He's not just my cousin. He's been my best friend since I was like 5 years old. It's not the same since he left. I just wanted to send him something because he wanted me to write to him everyday but I suck at writing letters and my mind's blank when it comes to writing poems lately. Please help. He's not very patriotic if that helps any.
