need advice

my friend has been going out with her boyfriend for alittle over a year now, but they always fight, he gets jealous over everything and he tries to control her, the problem is everytime they fight he gets all suicidal and its scary for her. if she were to dump him, which would be good because he is nothing but negative towards her, he may kill himself. this puts her in an awkward position. she goes to me for help cuz im one of her best guy friends. i dont really know how to help her. so i am asking for advice, if n e one has n e input plz help

She should drop him like yesterday. This is a VERY unhealthy relationship.

A negative relationship is nothing but drama and an out of control ride on the emotional rollercoaster.

If he wants to kill himself, he would have done it a long time ago. Threatening her that he'd commit suicide is just a small part in the guilt game.
