Getting people to read.

How do I get more people to read my poems? I mean if I have to write more sad ones about death and all that people find so sad, too bad. I want to keep off the band wagon. So if anyone can check them out, I'd be happy to read yours. I mean, isn't that why we put them on here, to get them read?
