My best friend and i have fallen out over something really stupid. She's fallen head over heels for this guy. but the problem is, a while ago he was sending me text messages saying it was me he wanted to be with. He said he would never go with her. When i told him i wasn't intrested he changed his tune. I know he only wants to get his leg over, but she won't listen. She thinks its going to be a long and beautiful relationship. But i know him and he won't stick with her once he's had his own way. I've tried everything and i know at the end of the day its ultimately her decision. But I don't want to see her get hurt again. I just don't know what to do. I love her to bits and its really hurting. Should i let her get on with it? or keep trying to persuade her to stay clear? i don't think i can stand by and watch that git break her heart.

Sit back and enjoy the ride.
Everyone has to experience life for themselves.
Do not decline your friend that.

I have lost a best friend of ten years over fighting about a relationship. Warn her, but otherwise just let it go, play it safe. If something happens, comfort her. It's not your fault, you warned her, but don't say "I told you so" Just enjoy the fact that you can both talk smack about this guy together.
