What is your Poetry Mission Statement - Goal, for the poems you write and post??? |

I have to be with JPM, I want my poetry to break the rules, and still be damn good. I want people to look at it and say that isn't poetry, but all the while they are saying this is a brilliant poem. I also want to convey meanings about human nature, pointing out the good and the bad, and just describe life as it is. |

My goal? heh. That's a story and a half, my friend. But if you really want to know, i'll try and keep it breif. I hope to be a great author one day, as big as Steven King, if not greater, (said in all due respects to him,) and wish to write things to spark my imagination and pretty much warm myself up for the challenges ahead. That's about as breif as I can make it, friend. |

I like to write poetry where people go "Wow..." , where the poem gets stuck in their head and they have to go back and read it again or something. |

I guess my goal is to express my feelings about a situation or moment in my life. I find it hard to express myself sometimes, and just sitting and writing a poem, taking my time to get down everything i want to say is a much better was for me to express myself then blurting out the first thing that comes into my mind |
