What is your goal when writing and then posting a poem your poet

What is your Poetry Mission Statement - Goal, for the poems you write and post???

My goal is to write charming, stylish, and seemly, swoon worthy romantic pieces/poems and sensual, stimulating, seductive, erotic ones. I want my romantic poems to resound of amorous feelings, flowery language, elevated-emotion, exquisite eloquence, extolling adjectives and artful elegance and my erotic pieces to arouse, awaken, the sensual soul and bring about arousal - in its intended audience. My goal is for my satirical pieces to be funny, humorous, and actually ring of satire and for all my pieces, in general, to leave there marked and intended impression.

My goal is to write poetry to the best of my ability and just try my best...

I have to be with JPM, I want my poetry to break the rules, and still be damn good. I want people to look at it and say that isn't poetry, but all the while they are saying this is a brilliant poem. I also want to convey meanings about human nature, pointing out the good and the bad, and just describe life as it is.

My goal? heh. That's a story and a half, my friend. But if you really want to know, i'll try and keep it breif. I hope to be a great author one day, as big as Steven King, if not greater, (said in all due respects to him,) and wish to write things to spark my imagination and pretty much warm myself up for the challenges ahead. That's about as breif as I can make it, friend.

it's Stephen King, he once said that guys who spell it "Steven" are posers.

my goal...uh, pleasure myself, enlighten people, look at flashy pop-ups and click on buttons.

I Think My Goal In Every Poem I Write Is To Express Myself To The Fullest, Be Creative, And Touch Somebody's Life (Theres Plenty Of Goals For Me Personally) xoxo-Nikki-xoxo

    my goal? hmm...

My goal for poetry is to write anything that comes to me, to let my imagination and creativity flow from my heart and onto to paper (or the computer, depends on where I am). I like to create things that touch other people and to show who I really am deep inside.

I like to write poetry where people go "Wow..." , where the poem gets stuck in their head and they have to go back and read it again or something.

I want to broaden people's perspective's on the world, make them think about things in more detail.

I don't personally think I've managed any of that, but they are my set goals.

I guess my goal is to express my feelings about a situation or moment in my life. I find it hard to express myself sometimes, and just sitting and writing a poem, taking my time to get down everything i want to say is a much better was for me to express myself then blurting out the first thing that comes into my mind
