yes, one can become a moderator. no none of the moderators founded the site. The site was founded by Janis, who is the head elf, so to speak.

Let me keep on with my stupid questions. OK, someone told me you get awards if you have commented on other people's works more than 30 times (for the cheap bronze award.) But, I was also told that we get the prizes when the God Janis presses some "magical" button and refreshes the browser or something like that... do you know how often this is done?

I think Janis is coming home in a week or so.
