19 years agohey i was just wonderin' if yall could help me out here. well if you read the post about her bf sittin next to me in one of my classes. well the other day i asked her if she liked me and she said just as a friend, but i know thats a lie. what should i do? i dunno if its becuz she has a bf or what. i dunno what to do. so can someone help me??

19 years agoi'm gonna be straight forward here and probably harsh. i know you like her and stuff but stop pushing this. even if it is a lie, you shouldn't even be trying to get her to like you, and if she's lying, she's doing the right thing. she doesnt want to hurt her boyfriend or lose him over a crush she MIGHT have. you shouldnt push this, dont even discuss this with her...you're just encouraging cheating. which is bad. especially if you know/are friends with her boyfriend! leave her alone, leave him alone, if she breaks up with him and comes to you then ok you can make your move. until then, stay out of it.
i'm not trying to say that i dont understand where you're coming from...its always nice to know someone likes you (if its true that she does) and to pursue it, especially if its challenging...and a girl having a bf would be a challenging situation. but you really need to put yourself in his shoes. think about how he would feel if he found out his girlfriend was even talking about liking another guy, nevertheless thinking about the other guy instead of him.
oh and if this girl would really leave him for you, you don't want her anyway. she'd probably do the same to you if someone else came along.
so for now just stay out of it, don't flirt, don't ask her who she likes, just leave it alone. don't even participate if she comes to you first. if and only if she is broken up with him is when you should do something. -
