You had another thread in which everyone urged you to break it off with the first guy. You said you were with him 2 years so it will take some time to get over him. That's normal.

Maybe this is a good time to concentrate on just being your own best friend for a while. If you desperately require a guy in your life and can't be happy otherwise, then something is wrong.

Cheated and Lied.

^Those are the two most important words in this situation. You'd be stupid to get back with him.

Tell him he made the choice to treat you with disrespect and a lack of common decency when he cheated.

Then tell him that you have now made the choice not to be with ANY guy that does not treat you with common decency and respect.

I agree with Jaime. because he did lie and cheat so what the point in getting back with him when you already know that he's going to do something like that again. why risk being hurt by the same person over and over by the same reason?
