You've never been in love if........

I wouldn't disagree with everything, because i mean i do worry about my boyfriend if hes ok and everything. And the part about them making you the happiest person in the world is true, and that they can make you the saddest, because for me, my boyfriend can make me smile instantly, but he can also make me cry heaps. I am insecure, but getting better!! :-) I would say if you have to think about being in love you are most definately not in love, when you're in love, YOU know you're in love and you don't need anybody else telling you otherwise xx

I agree with Sunny. It is called insecurity, not true love.

And you, Born, to think you have the audacity to say that someone has never experienced true love when you don't even remotely know the person. You should be ashamed of yourself, for I am truly ashamed to even associate with one so pompous as to think that he alone knows what love is about. And if you even think to say that I haven't experienced true love or that I don't know what it means to truely love someone, than you, sir (and I use that term loosely), can go straight to hell and burn for eternity in your pride and arrogance.

I don't agree with anything that was said.

You can be in love up to the sky and still think about suicide sure but you don't have to in order to truley know you love someone. No matter how much you are in love with one person, there still might be a hundred making you hurt so much more.

Everyone has their different take on love and for you to sit here and say no you haven't been in love if you haven't had thoughts about this, or no you haven't been in love if you haven't done this. Your wrong. Its not up to you about when people fall in love and how they feel about it.

I can honestly say I have never dranken myself into a frenzy worrying and thinking about him leaving me and that is because if he really loved me that much, like he does, he wouldn't cause me that pain.

Sure love is pain SOMETIMES and it always needs to be worked on, but it doesn't have to go to that point. Love is beautiful in every way that every person sees it.

AND frankly I don't need you telling me when I have and when I haven't been in love. Your theories and explinations of love are stupid and very unreal. I think that the love you experienced was something horrible if you were forced to have those thoughts and act those ways.

Sunny is right in many ways....let's face it, love is the greatest thing in the world when reciprocated and is unconditional, but if not, then the J. Geils Band is right, "Love Stinks".

At least you were able to say what I can tell when i was in love. Most of the time I was soo helplessly in love, it was selfish of me to want to die, it was selfish of me to want him to hurt as much as me so I didn't feel alone, and it was selfish of me to love him because he didn't love me back.

If you meant those things then maybe you should be more spacific with your words. " You have never been in love if you haven't contemplated suicide." That doesnt say if they died now does it?

And sure it can be a metaphor but if they cared about you that much, they wouldn't put you in that postition.
