1.) You don't know how she feels. People never feel the exact same way.

2.) How can you promise that she'll be okay and alive? You don't actually know that.

3.) She's doing this for attention, otherwise she would've already committed suicide. Since when do people who actually set dates and tell someone about it are NOT doing it for attention? They want to see if anybody will try to stop them before it's "too late", as they say.

4.) Are you the little man inside her brain giving out the pink candy lollipop slippers of suicidal thoughts? If not, then you do not truly know her real motives.

If she is so depressed she'd go now, she wants atention like the others said. & people like her are the type of people that ruin it for the other depressed kids, whenever someone is depressed the first thought is theyre faking it like seriously. she needs to get over herself.

Read my topic on Anti Depression Day and as u c the latest suggestion is Jan. 1. Might help her,ne? Lets find out.

It doesn't count for anything except how idiotic you are for not being about to carry out a suicide and not learning from the first try that it's harder than you think.

There's nothing anybody from the net can do to save her if she really wants to kill herself. When will people realize this?

well...jodi seems a lil spooky now (infact tpam has already made me wonder.) but yeah,i guess a little bit. but u c,if u give her stuff that brings her down,thats what causes depression. it's like an arrow about to hit the target. you have to be nice so they don't get upset. so yeah,board bashers plz this is a suicide we're talking about?

why in the world would you post something like this and have your first sentence say that no ones knows jodi? How are we going to help her if we dont know her?

I'm gling to kill myself on Oct 31...Lol...J/k I... mean who would pick a date like that. If they wanted to do it they wouldn't set a date...they'd just do it...I just think its a cry for help...but I bet her family and friends can get to her before anyone of us can even if we wanted to.

guys... my cousin always talked about killing herself , for a very long time. At first I was really worried, but then I figured that she'd been doing it for attention, and that she'd been talking about it for so long that she wasn't really planning on going through with it. Well she killed herself two weeks ago by overdosing on pills... that's when I realized that you need to take anything serious. Because sometimes, it's real. I mean, chances are that Jodi really is doing it for attention... but what if she isn't?

i think we've all come to the conclusion that she is doing it for attention, but if we just ignore her and say how stupid she is for picking a date etc...i'm quite sure that that wont make her feel any good at all. It'd well known that any suicide threats etc should be taken seriosuly, by anyone.
My teacher once said, that someone who says they'll commit suicide, are on an indefinite line from saying it...............to actually doing it.

So i hope jodi is ok...

i'm starting to feel sad all over again because there's hundreds of people feeling bad,the rate increasing leading to suicide, etc. :( im so sensitive, i get in the habit of writing a poem if i feel compassion for someone...

firstly, whoever the hell lightsniper is, you're an arrogant, in sensitive idiot. you have no idea how bad people can feel or their reasons for it. people who suffer from depression could say that you deserve to burn in hell and be forever tortured for making things worse and probably driving people over the edge just from your comment. but they won't, most likely, because unlike you, they actually have compassion and emapthy for other people.

secondly, i don't think jodi will do any serious damage to herself or she wouldn't have told you. i'm still unsure wether she's doing it for attention or just as a cry for help. if its true, then its obviously a cry for help because she gave you a lot of time to stop her and prevent her doing anything or she would've said a date closer to the time or not said anything at all.

thirdly, like lots of people here have said, even if she's not ready to go through with it, it shoudl still be looked on like she would because every suicide threat or promise is just as serious because of the destructive potential it has.

hope she's okay, hope it all gets a lil bit better for her soon.

The whle reason we r hear is to help jodi, i am worried because everyday we get closer to the date she wanted to commit suicide and i get worried, she'll read this and think no-one cares. I do, i think you do too. So to all who post cruel comments, think before you act, jodi might read this and you could make things ten times worse
