I think these rules are all bullcrap on a stick. Newbies are what makes this site fun and interesting. I know -I- don't want to sit here all day talking to people who are smarter than me. I like to feel a little smarter than others sometimes.

Renee, this is HELPING Newbies to not feel like complete idiots, because usually they act like them.
I think those 'general rules' were pretty accurate, you'll be doing newbies a lot of good if they do read them.

How come JPM got a whole rule dedicated to him?!

I think these rules are a perfect idea. After reading this and they still chooses to go aganist them. It'll be their fault people are gonna get on their cases and Renee will get her chance at insulting them and etctera.

I would add one thing to your advice:

Don't dig up old threads that have already run their course and try to revive them. An old thread is a topic to which there have been no new posts for the past 30-60 days. If it is a topic you want to discuss on the forums, start a NEW thread.

Hey, in my quotes i put up two tupac quotes, and i gave him credit and i asked no one to rate it as it wasnt mine, and i just read your post and i thought about what i had put up. Please, if you think I should delete them even though i gave credit and asked for it not to be rated, please tell me because i will delete them. sorry if it was wrong, catch

nice rules but what do I do if I've been wrongly accused of plaigiarising a poem when I know for sure it is my own and it was about my grandfather and I have no way of accessing it because they have deleted it?I have tried sending poems-and-quotes an e-mail explaining this but they have done nothing and it was atleast a month ago.ty

I have a simalar problem to the one above... I entered a poem that was completly mine and I was accused of plagarisum and I had my other account suspended...What do you do when that happens?

I don’t really think this is rules for newbies alone. A newbie can be quite competent with forum subject matter. I find it is more of a rule system for idiots, only a few of the rules actually involve information helpful for a newb. But none the less, I agree with it in its entirety… and whos this "JPM?" I am new to this site and havn’t heard of him yet. (havn’t done much browsing of the forum yet.)

I would say it is a rule system to follow for people who don't want to make themselves look like idiots. And that's based on all the countless foolish things that I've seen people do on this site.

References to JPM are obsolete. That individual's account was closed.

Anyway, welcome to the site and hope you find your time spent here enjoyable and worthwhile.
