I know we're not allowed to post poetry we havent written ourselves so I'll post a link cause, as far as I know, thats ok?

This is a poem that I really like, i know I might get flack for what the theme is because its constantly dealt with here and somewhat overdone now, but in all honesty its written in a very different way and I just find it really touching and heartfelt. It was actually featured in my fave. book of all time; 'The Perks Of Being A Wallflower'. Anyway enough with that, you can find the poem Im talking about here:

It's titled"A Person, A Paper, A Promise" and is written by Dr. Earl Reum.

I hope you guys like it, cause I surely do!

[Edit: Sorry for the re-post of this poem, I should really get used to the 'search' tool.]

There was a thread about this poem a long time ago! I like the poem!
The word "and" was used way too much. I think that in the first part of the poem (when he was younger) it was okay. I mean when a child tells you a story they use "and" alot. So it worked well in that part of the poem. However, throughout the entire poem it was too repititious.
