can you help me? i love him and i cant think straight

I fell in love with this guy named John and the thing is he's dating this girl ashly. ill tell you the story from the beginning.
i called him one day because he asked me to, so i did. we spoke for a couple hours and i started liking him. he started liking me too. his gf ashly, he dosent like her he wants to leave her. The next day he asked me if i would kiss him if i had the chance, i said yea but u have a gf. he said not to worry about her, he dosent love her and is only with her so he isn't single. i think he cares to much about her and wont ever leave her. That friday everytime i saw him alone i would run up to him and kiss him. we spoke too so dont think i would kiss him and run away. he would text my cell saying "i love you" and stuff like that. His gf's friends saw us kiss and told ash (his gf) she left him. he drove me home from school that day. but they got back together later that day. his parents dont like me because there was a huge misunderstanding and the cops sent him a verbal warning. so his parents hate me even though they never met me. they wont listin to him and he wont stand up to them. now, he is just with her as he says "like a fake relationship" and i love him so much that i just nod and cry later when he isnt there. i only see him for 10 min a day. and i miss him all the time. last night he asked me out and i said yes. our relationship is a secret. his gf hates me because she knows i love him. she dosent know that he loves me back. what should i do. what should i tell him. i want to be with him and i want him to be happy. he says he is happy with me not ashly. so we both want to be together but his parents hate me because of the verbal warning the cops sent to his house. his parents wont listin to me or my mom. he wont stand up to them either. he is 17. he says on his b-day he will be with me no secrets. i dont want to be his secret i want to be with him.

he could be playing me and i do think that somtimes but i dont want to assume that and break my own heart heh.

ok why did he get and what did this verbal warning say? and just tell him he should end it with his girlfriend cause theres no point of having a relationship even a fake one if he doesn't like her

the verbal warning was sent to him because one day last year i was new to the school and i didnt kno many ppl and i was talking to him on the phone joking around saying that he was gonna tickle me and stuff. later that day when i was on the computer his friend said that john was going to tie me up. the truth of the whole thing was that ron (the guy that told me john wanted to tie me up) was just jealous of john. my mom read what ron said and she took me to the cops. they just sent him a verbal warning thats it. he has no record and isnt in any trouble.

i wish all my encounters with cops could just be warnings
