Has anyone ever been in a group home or lives in one now?

i ended up getting kicked outa home with my boyfriend. but all our friends were supportive and we are now living with one of our friends and there parents are so supportive. best of luck to you girl. mwah

I lived in a group home for about a year once, i don't know my dad and my mum is, well, lets say she's rather unreliable. anyway, it was alright, except for the fact that there are some pretty hard kids in there, i live in a bully or be bullied area and i ran with a hard crowd. at the start we got the p*ss ripped out of us for being a group home but soon it was alright. its like a massive family ya know? where you can bully one of them, but if an outsider does then you sort em out lol.

but i dont advise giving your nan a note, not after everything she's done for you.

i've never experienced that no, but my best friend has...and it wasn't pretty. however it may be different in diff areas and also she was a lot to handle though. Good luck with telling your grandma...

i had a couple of frends in agroup home there really nice there it seems and u make a frends seems kinda like living with ur frends there stirct kinda tho they wont let u leave at least in the one that i heard of unless get some pass or something or ur at a certain level but u leave for skool and in groups to go places so its not like ur stuk at all!!!!! u jsut cant leave on ur own like i think u just have to b with someone i heard most of the councilers at this one were nice and my frend who was in it was frends with a couple there really helpful they even help u if ur jsut upset over something.....they also take u out once in a while to go get clothes and stuff and idk it seems likea good place

which one are u goign to i forget which one my frend was at i havnt seen her in forever and i knew her thro this therapy thing so yah but if i heard them name id remember :) anyway if ur at the one Jenn is at shes skinny and has short hair always dyes it so i cant tell u wut color it would b now lol but shes real cool very nice cool always tries to help ppl
everyone will b nice there dont worry they now how things can get tough thats why there not living in there homes so dont worry dont b nervous it will all go good :)
