getting help

so what exactly was the point of this post? just to tell us for fun or do you want something?

Well, don't cut...I was going to start myself, but I'm really not sure if its a good idea.
You see, I'm a dancer, and in Flamenco you always have to have your wrists and arms bare, to show them off better, so I couldn't cut there, and besides, if I cut anywhere else I wouldn't be able to wear a bikini in the summer...
Why don't you set yourself more goals, like, if you don't cut for a week you get to, say, wear your hair in a way you really like, or buy yourself a candle, or a stick of incense, or something that's small but nice, and still affordable.
If you can try to join some type of club, maybe a gym, a dancing school, an art club...anything.
I used to be really lonely until I began to dance, even in Flamenco the people weren't very friendly, but then when I started Irish I found that they were all very nice people, and quite a few were good listeners, and eager to help. That's mostly what saved me.
Oh, and at the very least, it would be a great idea if you could get a pet. Animals are a great comfort when you're lonely, and unlike some people on this site, they don't judge.

Its okay, Ash. People can be cruel, and above all life can be cruel. Well, people can also be honest.
Just hang on, okay. You need to hang around with more people, and quit being lonely, and by the way to me a week is a long time, but there are about fifty weeks in a year, so yeah, one bad week isn't that much...

marlene are kind words really going to help her though? she said that she almost killed herself last week...and then later on she pretty much said oh guys nevermind no biggie just a bad week....what happens when she is older and gets laid off or divorced and it takes longer then a week to get over? i dont think kinda words are going to save her life i think she needs to toughen up because being sad for a only a week and attempting suicide is ridiculous people have it so much worse i've seen some pretty f'd up people and i havn't seen anything near as bad as some people have it i just wish people didn't complain about such petty things...
