Tips for staying in touch?

Well my BESTEST Friend (her name is Liz on this site) is moving away to TEXAS....which might as well be a million miles away (im in MA) So I don't know what I'm gunna do with out her. Anyway, I definatly don't want our friendship to shrivil away over something like distance, so does anyone have any nice ideas for keeping in touch? thanx

write letters...easiest thing to do, i think, unless you have free long distance on your phone, then you can just call her lol...

Hey my bf if in the military and is in Korea for 6 months... I'm here in SC. The best way we keep in touch is through yahoo messenger with web cams or emails.

It's the modern world. Life over long distance made easy. Write her e-mails, chat with her, a hand written letter will be very apreciated at times, every now and then a phone call, all you have to do, is stay in touch. Don't let the distance be a problem. Trust me, I know what I'm saying. I just moved to Texas a couple of months ago, my GF lives thousands of miles away in the caribean, and my best friend is all the way over in europe, which is like 7 hours difference from here.
