In fact it is viewed by many that only 5 -10% of his predictions have been fulfilled with 100% certainty. |

So....10% of the time, he was 100% accurate? |

no, 10% of the time his rambling can be fitted in with an event that happened. |

I think the question is what do you think of nostradmus. People say he predicted jfk's assasination and the world trade center bombings. Here is something along the lines of what he predicted. A powerful man will be killed by a thunderstick. Well damn, if that doesn't describe every political assasination ever. |

I was recently scanning through the channels on TV when I came across Nostradamus - 2012 on the History channel. Talk about the past, this guy was a genius for his time. Constructing predictions of the future from the stars from what scientists say. Drawings and books filled with info in which are detailed in how and when life will so called come to an end. This is not just another history theory (even though it really is to an extent) where they are just putting parts together to make it sound like the end of the world; This is just one guy who has made notes upon notes about how and when catastrophy will happen leading up to the end of the world, and it all points to Dec. 21, 2012. |

Wonder what made both the Mayans and Nostradamus both predict it is all over in 2012? |

According to the Maya, the "future" which lies beyond this end date is literally "a new world age" - "a new creation." |

A solar eclipse and galactic alignment will happen during the winter solstice in the year 2012...it only happens once every 26,000 years...each defining a new age. |

Armaggedon week on the History Channel is deff. interesting although a majority of the stuff shown are Theroies, however; we do know for a fact that in the year 2012 there will be a solar eclipse and galactic alignment will happen during the winter solstice around Dec. 21st...it only happens once every 26,000 years, and it is predicted that it has been 26,000 years come 2012...each time this happens it defines what we call a new age of exsistance. |

Is there actually any proof that the way we count dates / years are correct? |

I have always thought that a poet who could write quatrains that predicted events would have no problem breacking into the mainstream media |
