How did you say "I love you" the first time?

I know that some people don't like to say their feelings and others embrace it. My bf is one of those guys, that embraces them, if he gets to know you well enough. The first time he told me he loved me we were on the beach and he had written it in the sand..... but I didn't see it... I had walked past him while he was writing it. I was on a float in the water and he joined me and held me hand, kissed me on the cheek, and told me.

aww... i wish my first was romantic... but noo, i was on the phone... i should've waited till i got to see her. but sadly, i'm being waaay let down... into misery... but yeh, that's my story.

I'm sorry vic. Next time you should say it in person...it's always better even if you get let down but I'm sure if you said it in person you wouldn't

The problem is, I never did say it. Because I never realized I loved him until we broke up. I still do love him but I will never tell him because I know it will make him hate me more than he already does. He hates me because I "made everyone hate him" last year by him breaking up with me. Which isn't my fault its his.

I've only said it to two people and in retrospect, I wish I'd kept my mouth shut the first time. I don't let people in and I don't say "I love you" if it is just lust or something akin to that. The second time I said it to someone, and I meant it, was over the phone. She had emailed me and told me she loved me...we were co-workers who never met, just spoke over the phone. I didn't respond. She wrote again, apologizing for being so forward. When I got out of the hospital after almost finding out what happens when you die, I saw the second email first and scrolled down to see what she apologized for.....I called her office and all I said when she answered was, "I love you too". Then I explained why I ignored her for two and half days...I let myself out of the hospital....was still supposed to be there.

Hmm..first time ever i think was on the phone to my ex. Looking back, i regret ever saying i love you to him because it wasn't love.
With my now boyfriend, he said it first, he kept telling me he was going to tell me then 1 day we were in his room holding each other (as you do) and he looked in my eyes and said "i love you" and i just melted. Of course, me, panicked and said something stupid lol..*blushes* i shall always remember that day, that was one of the best. We've been together for nearly 2 years now :D *SCORE!* :-) (don't ask...) xox

The very first time was to my ex boyfriend in middle school phillip I wrote him a note and handed to him he was a jerk at the time and made fun of it but when noone was around he told me he was sorry that he just never felt that way before kissed me softly and said I love you. The main time I was with my now boyfriend and he came back from work after a week out of town and he was so tried but he had to come to see me and he said I love you baby but I am tired I almost cryed cause it was so sweet he took the time..

.. I Have Never Said I Love You To A Guy. I Have Never Wanted To Open Up My Heart Like That.. I've Been In Love Before.. But Either I Ran Away From It.. Or I Just Never Let It Out. Maybe Something's Wrong With Me, I Don't Know.. But However You Say It, Wherever You Say It, As Long As You Mean It, That's All That Matters. At Least In My Opinion.
