If your talking about the story of his brother.....your right that is sad ......I mean really my older brother is 19 and a few months ago he was robbed at gun point at his job......lucky he got out of it fine and he is still shaky about it anf it is really hard to think about what could have happened I'm really grateful came out fine *besides the memories*

Sorry but this can only worsen things for most people. I havent read it but its one of those 'You're lucky, dont bitch about it' stories. All they do is make someone who is sad/depressed feel a lot more guilty about it and then hates themselves even MORE for those reasons.

I think its unfair to judge how 'you have it better off then they do' when no one can comprehend what others are going through to be able to balance it out. Sorry but this kind of this really gets to me, and psychologists highly recommend you dont tell a depressed person how 'lucky he/she are to have what they have when others have it worse'.

Yeh i agree.... yush it was uber sad.. and i feel soooo sorry for anyone who has to suffer that kinda loss... but you cant compare everyones problems.

People feel and see and expierience things differently. What is upsetting for some isnt for others. Yeh its sad and yeh i am glad i havnt lost a brother.. but that doesnt mean that some of the things others have gone through arnt as bad and that they dont have the right to feel upset/depreessed aboot them

Whoa, hold on a sec, you have it wrong, i wasnt indicating that there is never a reason to be sad, because things like this happen. i know people experience things differently and they effect them differently, I'm just saying peple worry about the petty things and its not worth it because look what can happen. I know life not always good, and i know there are times when horrible depressing things happen and im not saying not to get sad when they do, im just saying if there is a broght side look to it, because things happen. And im not dissing depressed people, or trying to mak ethem feel bad...because things happen i know that...i didnt put this on here to mae anyone feel bad i did it because sometimes people worry to much about things that wont matter in a while. well i had to say thiat ....

I couldnt read it it said he didnt exsist! I use to have a vampire freaks account, it didnt help, its funny that was the only place i could talk about cutting and my friends wouldnt know! i was happy about that, but it never did help my cutting tendencies.

Ok I do think this is a sad story.. But, honestly I've had enough of the at least you're still alive stories.
I don't pitty myself, and I don't want no sympathy. But I am kinda sick of people posting stuff like this.. It's like they are saying.. YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO BE SAD. This guy did, and he never complained.

No matter how bad you've got it, there is always someone who has it worse then you do.
But that doesn't make your problems invisible, that doesn't not make them worth your tears.
And it doesn't mean you don't have the right to be sad when you are alone.
