help me please!

hi, i need help, i'm going out with this guy and i don't think i love him .. i love my best mate. My friends have asked my best mate if he has feelings for me and hes told them he does, and i really wana be with him but i don#'t wana hurt my boyfriend because i really care about him, and he keeps saying he can't live without me ... and i implied cutting the relationship off and he started going suicidal and crying ... i really don't know what to do! .. please someone help me...

You could tell your bf that you care about him but I don't think you should say that you love him if you don't. However, I think his crying and appearing suicidal are just desperate, manipulative tactics. If that were a reason for staying with him, it would be a very unhealthy relationship. If you don't love him and it isn't a fulfilling relationship, then you should leave whether or not there is another guy involved. He's going to feel bad about it but that's usually the nature of break-ups. If you continue to see him, it may just prolong his pain because it will lead him to believe there's a chance of getting back together.

dont just break up with your boyfriend and be with the guy you like so fast. His gonna beat him up.

going suicidal? i think that's like an excuse to keep you i don't think he'd really commit suicide and crying? im sorry but that's a big turn off he sounds a bit desperate but ummm if you love your best mate be with him and sometimes to love means to let go and your boyfriend should do that...
