How doI sort this out...?

I love this guy and split up with him because he lived so far away....now the guy is dating my best mate Brom and I don't know what to do because he is one of my best mates too Do I no longer talk to him - because I can't face him and don't want to hurt him(I've hurt him once before) or do I just sit silently and watch which will tear me apart...What do I do?
