longing for love

HI everyone. I may be beening a sap here, but for years I did not mind at all being alone. I have had some girlfriends over the years, but I always end up being by myself. I didn't have a problem with it until recently. I think I have come to the point in my life were I am ready for something serious. I am ready to handle that kind of relationship. I just don't know how to go about making it happen. Any advise would be nice.

Are you finding difficulty in meeting women, or with
dating and establishing emotional intimacy? Do you have a social life or a life outside of home and work? Do you normally meet women in the course of your work or other places that you usually go?

You can't make a serious relationship happen. It will when it is right. The right person, in the right place, at the right time. I was married for 23 years and found the right person, it just wasn't who I was married to. When it is right you will know. The heart has reason and understanding the mind will never know.

I agree that you can't make a relationship happen. But you can do things to improve the likelihood that it will happen.

I agree with them... you need to give it time and wait for it to happen. I know, thats the hardest thing to do EVER but trust me it will work. One day you will meet that girl whose gonna sweep ya off your feet... believe me.
