over used words

    what do you think are the most over used words in poems these days?

    "Broken heart, pain, lonely, dying, love," Kind of hard to think about it, but thats at the top of my head.

    The words Anitdisestablishmentarianism creeps up a bit too much for my liking and i can't even spell it

    The only time I can see a overused word is in a single poem if they tend to use the same word over and over, although that might jst be a part of their rhyming scheme.

    Uhh... People use "crimson" instead of blood a lot... And blood is used a lot... And scar... One I try to avoid is kapotulisium(don't ask and yes it is a word...)

    lying, dying, crying...

    But hey, they do fit remarkably well together. :-)

    Hey I do agree greatly with Bryce, using a word over and over for different poems is okay, but in a single poem, sometimes, it's not bearable.

    i guess there are alot of words used over and over agen blood death love hate fear i use them alot but i guess its the type of poem you write it depends on the words you use , i mean if you were wrighting about love you wouldnt wanna say i hate you lol
