You need a balanced diet and a healthy outlook on life.

if you make yourself have throw up then in theory you have an eating disorder, i know that this is not always the case.

whatever, you have friends, ask them.

If you make yourself throw up, you probably have an eating disorder. And if you ignore your hunger when you do have it, thats a sure sign. Do you think you're fat? I have an ED and believe me, you don't want to get caught up in that. If you even think you may be developing an ED STOP NOW! It will desroy your life.

It would be pretty good if the person who started this actually re commented...If you start something, it'd be best that you keep tabs on it and answer the questions. There were a couple.
#1 Do you throw up on purpose?
#2 Do you think you are fat?

If you answered no to both of those questions, you most likely don't have an eating disorder. And there is a chance that you are not sick either. I read a book, adn there was a girl who threw up whenever she got upset, it was jerk reaction, she just couldn't help it. She thought she was too skinny, she thought she was unhealthy, but it was inevitable that all her food came back up. And depression decreased her appetite greatly. It's a possibility this could be your problem if you said no to the aboe 2 questions. But you could be legitimatly sick and you really should get yourself checked out. You could just ask for some bloodwok to see if you are in tip top shape, you wudnt even need to really tell your doctor whats happening, although its recommended,

If you answered yes, to the first one but not the second one you may or may not have an eating disorder. it could be a way to punish yourself, 'self destructive' is what docs would call it. If you get treated for bulemia, when its not exactly that, then you may not recover from this..whatever it is....So you need to be sure.

If you answered yes to both chances are you do have an eating disorder. If when you do eat, you feel fat and an impulse to throw up, even a need to just get it out of you, its a definite possibility. But don't lose hope, there are plenty of places out there that can really help you recover from an eating disorder.

One more thing...How long as this been going on? And what is your definition of "throwing up like crazy" to a person who never throws up, that could mean once a week. To someone who is used to it, it could mean 3-4 times a day. If you are doing it occasionally, with the idea in your head that you are fat, but you don't necessarily do it after every meal, and you don't obsess over calories, then this may be a 'self destructive' act. Wich should not be taken lightly.

In either of these situations, and results I suggest that you see a doctor and tell him your situation. If you can tell us, you can tell him. he may not be a stranger, and he may have more influence on your life...But essentially I think thats what you want.
