Random suggestion

I believe many poets here write to get some awards (at least that is the case when writing comments.) [I know, too superficial] Well, at least from the data available, I concluded that many do write for such purposes. Anyways, I propose a similar box is given to those who write many poetry articles. That may induce many to write articles and maybe help others improve. Not that I personally would start to write articles madly to get a gold award, but many people simply wish to get as many boxes as possible and this may stimulate them to write.

Well yes and no, there would be all sorts of articles and that would be the problem!

We really want articles of quality and good content and not just any random ad hoc article as it would just choke up the site. Screening of the articles would be needed for true content and quality and that is time consuming! Who would do that, the Mods? They already have their plates full.

If there were no screening you would have repititions on subjects and so many articles that would just be a plain waste of time where people are submitting so they can just gain the award!

There would also be allot of rubbish generated.

why not make it so that it is possible for people to find all of their threads that, that person posted? It would make it easier to find if one was wanting to keep track of what others posted about their thread.

Steven, what you said is true. I was just being idealist, believing everyone would write for the common good, rather than for their own self-interest.

i agree with Steven. the quality posted in the articles section would go down if you put an award on it. i saw keep it the way it is. those writing for the common good won't care about the awards all that much anyways.
