Forgiving yourself?

There is a saying that to err is human. In other words, everyone makes mistakes. What's important is that we recognize and acknowledge our mistakes, which you have already done. Mistakes can also become valuable lessons when we learn from them. Maybe if you take the time to write down all the things that you can or already did learn from this mistake, that should help you to feel sufficient redemption to enable self-forgiveness.

I know teenagers can be in love. Hell, I'm only 16 and have been with my guy for three years.

Anyways, what I would like to say is that making mistakes is what makes us human.
If he forgave you, you shoulden't feel you have to do the same.
He gave you a second chance, and I beleive you should take it, and use it.
If you are in love, and he is in love, you shoulden't be worrying about what happened in the past.

Mistakes make us human........so that would make me immortal right????
Joking, ive made soooo many mistakes lately....what you do is learn from them and seek forgiveness directly.
Ask him to explain how he felt then and how he feels now. Then apologise and ask him to forgive you.
