I think that age shouldnt matter, if you think you both have genuiene feelings for one another and you think you can make it work...then nothin else should matter! honestly gurl, i'd say go for it

I agree... age really is just a number. Anyways, I don't think 5 years is that big of an age difference anyways. I'm going out with a 21 year old... 4 years older than me. But it is true that many older men will take advantage of younger girls. I hope thats not the case. I do hope everything works out for you. Whatever makes you happy =D Good Luck and take care

I dunno, I don't think a 5 years age difference is really something to worry about.. 25 okay, but five cmmon... if these are genuine feelings, and you really care about eachother the age shoulden't be an issue.. just go for it. Life is about taking chances, and I don't think this is a big one.

I think you should go for it, I lost someone cause of an age difference and it sucked! You only live once so go for what you believe in.

    Listen to this dear stranger:
"A man has to be atleast three years older than a woman to be at the same level of maturity that she is."
That is basically stating that, with three years more on him, he can understand his woman more and contribute more to a relationship. Of course keep in mind that it doesn't mean that if you're not years apart that your relationship will fail, it's simply a small bout of information based on statistics... Anyway the point of me telling you this post is because, I believe (no offense to anyone who disagrees) that there are such things as strong emotions. There's anger/aggression, grief/depression, and most of all love. If you truthfully believe that you could be (or are) in love than don't let age stop you... Only you know for sure though, we don't know what goes through your head or what you feel, but I thought I would speak up a bit. Good luck to you :)
