TPBM:Thanks i guess i read too fast

Ok here it is:

Broken Glass

Ripped up love notes, thrown in the trash
Cuts from blades, outwards onto skin an onward lash
Crystal tears fading down that porcelain face
For now nothing lies for her to claim
A body stripped from riches to clinging rags
Faded moonlit eyes now hiding splintered pain
What may be left, oh, it would be a miracle
Yet this cannot be-
Lost her life to a simple bet
That never could be
Doesn't have a house, gets beaten, forced to work dirty
Oh, if you ever knew the pain of that strong female
She has no innocence, no purity, no salvation, no sanctity
She has accepted such a harsh self slavery
Torn into pieces by a hard, stone heart
She loses herself
And doesn't want anyone to help

"That Pretty girl"

There is always a pretty girl
At every school
But this one is different
You all think you know her

but...

What if I was to tell you
That her perfect pretty face
Is nothing more then a mask?

What if I was to tell you
That under those big blue eyes
Are bruise coloured rings
Hidden by lying make up

What if I was to tell you
That under that fashionable top
Is a heart that aches
From the misuse it has felt

What if I was to tell you
That under her happy laugh
Is the sound of her unhappiness
A silent scream no one can hear

What if I was to tell you
That under that expensive bracelet
Are the scars of a desperate girl
Searching for a way to escape

What if I was to tell you
That although you must
Think you know this girl
None of you do

None of you at all

"Wasted"

Wasted away,
A new day,
Has more than left me,

A girl in darkness,
Left behind,
Missunderstood,
In her own mind.

What can she do,
Awaiting for nothing at all,
Left in a neverending fall.

Why is she here,
Lost in fear,
No love in her life,
All dissapeared.

In a corner,
Shadows to guide,
Nowhere to run,
But every where to hide.

Blood flows all around,
Dripping on the window pain,
With out a sound.
Her life just Wasted away...

No Savior.

and how, my precious, are you
overly-offended by mmy ambivalence
ambiguous as it is?
why must you wake me with your
conditioned rapture,
and then ask
why i
myself
clench my fists
as you lay underneath the cover
of cloaks and daggers
that could never recover
what was once shattered
or ever remove
anything that
you think
matters

. disrepair
. was not
. something
. learned
. and
. selfishness
. surely isnt
. anything
. earned

so don't ask me
the definition of discernment
while you dine on your silver platter
of rusted fermentation
spewing
stagnant indecision in
every
single
direction.

holy
fucking
shit
i am
insane.

if only
the flow would remain...

I hide behind a smile
A lighthearted grin
While my insides turn
End over end.

I tire from acting
As if all is ok
But it's to keep
her in my day.

I miss you when with you
If that makes sense at all
Knowing I'll be without you
Come night fall.

I stash away my feelings
Using untrue alibis
Then hang up the phone
Squeeze a pillow and cry.

It isn't very masculine
Feeling this inside
But I need you in my life
And so I hide.

Something Missing
By: Sarah Drew

She smiles a fake smile
Thinking nobody will see through
All the pain she feels
She has lots of friends
She is a great student
She has a supportive family
And a loving boyfriend
But still inside she is hurting
Crying for no reason
Not being able to eat
She stares out her window
Thinking she has everything she ever wanted
But she feels as though
Something is still missing
She tries to be happy
But something keeps dragging her down
Will she ever just be happy

Hey, this one involves a girl, (you'll see) But if it's not quite what you're looking for (because it isn't all about her, and it's about her and her love... And it's a love poem, but a sad one none the less, so depending on how picky you are. -not meant in a bad way-) than just say the word, and I'll change it. I'm hoping it'll do, but no worries if not, Here goes....

Mark of Love

Frost Bitten shaddows creep beneath the snow
Sparkling in twilight, winter is all to show

The milkyway shines clearly, not a cloud in the skys
The reflections of that night, embedded in his eyes

Soft whistling winds deliver a message he seaks
Love fills his heart as the beautiful young girl speaks

Standing on the country side, he sees no city light
Her small hands lay in his, but he can't keep them tonight

He's got to let her go,and let her wings spread
She needs to go to heaven, there's another life ahead

A soft kiss upon her forhead, a warm tear streams down his face
The last moment that the lovers share, will forever mark love's place.

She sits in a corner, his wrists bleed in gallons,
The blood on her wrists, it sparkles, and glistens.
She cries herself to sleep because of you,
Pretending your so cool, by telling here you're through.
Well, it's not you that's through its her, before you know it she'll be gone,
She'll only be a memory, a memory that won't stay very long.
A memory that will be just another person,
Who DIED of her depression.
She slits her wrists deeper, and pops in a pill,
There will be no more time to just sit back and chill.
She begins to gasp for air, but then gives up,
Because she is sick of lies, fakers, and gossip.
She writes a letter quickly, in her own blood,
And she screams out in anger her life is a dud!
She turns pale, and thanks god she's finally leaving,
She has died of depression, and from her bleeding.

Yeah, its about a girl...just not like a hole lot....w/e tho..

Sinking Ship,
Tattered Wings,
Broken Heart,
Or So It Seems.

I Hit An Iceberg,
With Silent Screams.
Don't Know If Ill Make It,
With These Broken Dreams.

I Hate This Life,
With Tattered Wings.
I Hate This Life,
When Agony It Brings.

So Much Written Deceit,
On An Empty Page.
I Feel So Broken Hearted,
I Hope Its Just A Stage.

She Is The Iceberg Of My Life.
Lord, Let Me Put Her Under My Feet.
I Can't Stand This Coldness,
What I Truly Need Is Heat.

Innocent Child

Blackened spirits plague a hearts desire,
Burning to truth in raging fire.
Upon this numb frame where these scars sit,
Lies the darkness of pure whit.

Her shadows follow after light,
Clothing in darkness of hate’s delight.
A child lays innocent in forgotten plea.
A soul is gone for wolves to feed.

In a howl of misery, this child has died;
Of what little a heart could confide.
And as the petals of the rose in her hand die;
Her ghost stands over her body to cry.

--- I hope you don't mind it fits into both dark and sad catagories.

my poem is a sad one, but its the only sad one i could find that was short enough... its 20 lines long, not including the lines with just one word at the end.. but please include mine:D

****my poem is called " Doesnt Matter "
The truth is elusive because it knows where to hide,
There’s so much truth we don’t see, because we don’t look hard enough inside.

What’s the point of smiling, when deep inside you’re fading,
crying, wishing you were dead.

What’s the point of wishing when you know it wont come true,
because all of your struggles beneath your disguise,
drink from the reasons that hold you alive,
in unbearable pain, you do this to yourself, over and over again.

And your saying your seeing, your saying who you are,
but what takes meaning is cleaning, the meaning of who you are.

It doesn’t matter what you believe in, what’s the point?
Because, no one cares, so why should you?
If only they knew.
Knew you.

So what’s the point of smiling, wishing, saying, believing?
There is no point, because you’ll just get let down. So don’t hold
your breath, there’s no point.

Save me from the nothing I’ve become,
and what ill never be
because I don’t believe
in me.

"Blackest Winter"

She steps through the snow
It's the day that she must go.
The wind blows violently, she pulls her jacket close
Today she must journey to the one she loves most.

The snow flies down from the tree tops above
She's already cold, this is more than enough
To try to handle but she just can't hang on
These winter months seem to just drag on.

She wonders to herself if they'd find her body if she froze
She wonders if they'd miss her, she wonders if they'd know
That she had died, but she realizes there's no one left
To care about her, and the loniness weighs on her chest.

She nears a wooden cabin, deep in the trees
She stops at the door, falls quickly to her knees
You see she never gave up, she found her destination
But the door is shut. He forgot her and had forgotten her salvation.

A tear rolls down her cheek, freezes on her skin
The wind blows colder, but she keeps up her chin
She stands back up, doesn't bother knocking on the door
She knows that he doesn't live there any more.

She walks back to where she started, a place far away
She rids herself of memories from that horrid day
Her pride stoped her from knocking, now she'll never know
He was there, waiting, staying inside from the snow.

Message to Wayne
by Justin

You act like you love my sister but cause her nothing but pain
You are nothing but a piece of crap between my toes
You are a peddling punk that drives me insane
You are a nobody, a no one, all you do is Impose

You impose your thoughts on my sister
You are the reason my sisters life is hell
You went through her life like a twister
You drove her into a shimmering shell

I feel nothing but hatred for you, that will never change
I feel that she does not understand what you are
I feel anger, I am consumed with dread and derange
I feel like my world has fallen apart I have gone too far

I feel that my sister does not know she my heart
I feel you are a corruption on my sisters sole
I feel god knows your place and you soon will part
I feel when your gone my sister will refill the hole

She is to precious for your tainted ways
She is to pure for you to be in her life
She is to knowing to be in a haze
She is to good to be your wife

She is to lovely to loose her luster to you
She is to beautiful for the pipe
She is to heart full to waist it all on you
She is to impatient to see my gripe
