okay me and my brother Jay are argueing about jumping.

    WAIT!!!!

    its not what you think.
@ 20ft. high can you possibly jump and not break a bone???
he says yes, if you do this duck and curl thing.
i say no if you land perfectly flat.

    whats your input?

my luck, i'd probably break every bone in my body!!!! lol. i don't know, you probably would break a bone, depending on how you land.

hmmm... at that height the duck and roll will help, but you may still break a rib or something. I say its improbable, but not impossible.

...hmn... isn't "splitting your head open" breaking your skull?

And 20ft isn't that high. Just don't lock your knees when you land and you'll be fine. My buds and I jump off two story buildings for fun. We should know.

A guy my teach new fell backwards off of a three story silo, he landed on his feet and rolled backwards, walking away without a scratch. He was a black belt in Taekwon-doe, and in that we were taught how to roll out of a fall on the ground in the lower belts, and then from slight heights at higher ones. Lots of fun, usually set up a couple little punching shields and we would dive over them and roll out of it.

Yes, it is possible. I know it.

    I agree 20ft isn't that high.

If you were to land by using a breakfall as taught in most Martial Arts (basically a glorified rolling technique) then the chance of injury would drop greatly.

Also depends on the person, some people would break a bone from merely tripping on the pavement whereas others can get away with a lot more.
