How Do you tell?

ok so i kinda like this boy. so we hung out with my two best friends we all watched movies he was holding my hand and putting his arms around me and touching my leg during both movies.... i started to think he kinda liked me too i suddenly had the earge to want to kiss him. one of my best friends wispered to me and was like dont fall for him he likes someone else... i was so confused...i didnt know what to think anymore. then we went to school he next day and he didnt even talk to me. i talked to my best friend and was like he does that to all if his good girl friends... but me and this boy have hung out before and it was never like that? does he like me or just playing wiht me? and i still have the earge to kiss him do i? and if i do how do i make it kinda romatic?
