What do you do?!!?

What do you do when your best friend is in love with you but you just cant feel the same.
I practially lost my best friend because he's so jealous of my boyfriend it hurts me alot because i've known him for like 6 years and like he tells me he likes me a year ago but no matter what to me hes gonna be a friend and thats all i hate hurting him by not feeling the same way but now that i have a boyfriend
hes all mean to me and i dont like it should i just let our friendship go i think he might of already done so. :'(

Well, i know that isn't easy, that had happened to me at one point aswell, but you just have to tell him the truth and how you feel, even if it makes him upset he will have to accept it, and if he doesn't want to be your friend over it then it is his loss, and hes most likley mean because he has no other way of expressing how he feels so hes taking it out teh wrong way.

yeah i agree...i went through this too...and what i told nick was that i dont like him and never will...he didnt take it well at first but eventually he let it go. imagine what hes going through right now. heartbreak is hard for anyone. its not your fault though. these things just happen. tell him how you feel and if he never changes his mind, then hes not the guy you thought he was. he dosent deserve your friendship if he cant respect you. he should be the one apologizing...

oh hunni, im in the same situation. My best friend in the whole world likes me and i cant love him. And now that im kind of involed with someone he's been really cold towards me and i hate it. I don't really know what to tell you, because I'm in the same place, but you know if i come up with something ill letcha know.
