hmm, i technically don't agree with that, but then i'm in my teens. I think the "bad boys" while yeah they are really hot, they can be really nice. However, i personally like one of my best friends and he is "a nice guy". He's on the debate team with me and he is smart. Girls want someone who is intelligent, looks aren't everything!

I think this is a good observation you've made Tyler. And for the most part its true. MOST young teen girls like the bad-ass type guy. My guy friend was just complaining to me about this the other day and basically wanted me to speek for the female sex. But I couldn't answer it. Because personally I've always been more attracted to the nice guys. I always thought they were so sweet and adorable. I've always preferred it that way. Even when I was in my early teens. I've always been the nice girl so I guess thats why I was attracted to the nice guys? I don't know really. I've always been told I'm very mature for my age too so that may have something to do with it as well. I think this was a good thread Tyler. I'm sure many girls have their own opinions on your statement as well as guys who totally agree with you. Have a good one..

Bob is right. It can happen with either young girls or adult women. But personally I've seen it occur more in younger teen girls myself.

I believe that it depends not just on age but on maturity, relationship wise. After a girl has been in a relationship that let her severly hurt, she will often leave that bad guys aren't all they are made out to be and realize how special and what a treasure a good guy is

Well actually for me, I always go for the cute, sweet types. Like Seth Cohen. But, that's probably because the "bad boys" in my school are not only jerks, they're not attractive either. Not a good mix.

I had a sweet bf once. I loved him to death (I still do on some level) but then he turned into a "bad boy" with the smoking and the drinking and the drugs...and he started treatng me like crap whenever I tried to help him and talk to him.

I can't put up with that, so we're over.
